Janet is a local artist living in Macclesfield. She studied Art and Design at Stockport College.Having worked in the textile industry for a number of years ,she took the opportunity to live and work overseas. Drawing and painting have always been a hobby but as her confidence developed, she took on more and more commissioned work in a variey of formats. She moved back to England from the Caribbean in the 1990’s and continued painting and drawing as a hobby.
In more recent times she has become an active member of Macclesfield, Bollington and Rainow art groups. Exhibiting her work at annual shows and selling many of her paintings. She now displays her work as a solo artist around the area.
