After studying Art part-time at Macclesfield College, Di finally became a full-time painter in about 2011, when she left her life-long career in Cargo Insurance.
Every Artist attempts to bring something new to a beautiful vista, captured in a painting, and Di is no exception, experimenting and being brave is key. Perspective, having focal points, and quite specific detail, are all essential, even in Di’s semi abstract paintings. Di aims to look beyond the obvious, whilst still finding the beauty in our stunning landscape.
