Philippa Jane Ellis is a Cheshire-based artist inspired by the wild beauty of the Peak District. Working in acrylics and mixed media, she paints people, animals and places that hold a sense of connection.
She is drawn to images that stir something within — a look, a mood, a presence. Through her work she seeks to capture that quiet, almost mystical spark between beings — the sense of awareness or understanding that momentarily joins them together. Her paintings invite reflection, offering still moments of empathy and shared recognition.
25% of exhibition takings will be donated to Windyway Animal Rescue. Macclesfield.
